Creating a Connection
What do I need?
- High speed internet connection (Cable, DSL, LAN)
- Windows Vista, Windows XP Home, Windows XP Pro, Windows 2000
How does it work?
We will send you an email with a direct link to our service. Clicking on the link will download a small application (Applet) that will establish communication between the technician and your system.
If your email is not working we can give you a direct connection PIN code. The PIN code is only valid for a single session and cannot be used by anyone else. The applet can then be downloaded to your computer. We will direct you to a website where you can enter your PIN number. Enter the pin code you have received and the session will open.
What does the connection include?
- Desktop View and Remote Desktop Control, including Whiteboard
- Detailed Session History and Notes
- Chat Interface and File Transfer
- Detailed System Diagnostics, including Reboot & Reconnect

What happens afterwards?
At the end of the session, the applet is automatically removed from your system. If you require our service again, a new session is opened. The applet will be reloaded on your computer for the duration of the session. There is no way this applet can be used to compromise your system in any way.
